Delete Your focus w/us Account

You can request the permanent deletion of your focus w/us account and the personal data associated with it. This page applies to the focus w/us mobile application, a product of Uluwatu.ai.

011. Request account deletion without the app

You do not need to reinstall the app or sign in to request account deletion.

1. Send an email to hello@focuswithusapp.com.
2. Use the subject line: focus w/us — Account Deletion Request.
3. In your message, write: "Please permanently delete my focus w/us account and associated personal data."
4. If possible, send the request from the email address associated with your focus w/us account. If you used Sign in with Apple with a private relay address, let us know so we can help verify the account.

We may ask for reasonable information to verify that you own the account before processing the request. Do not send your password, verification codes, or payment-card details.

022. Delete your account in the app

You can also initiate account deletion from the account settings in the focus w/us app using the Delete Account option and following the confirmation steps.

If you cannot access the app or find the option, use the email method above. An in-app login is not required to submit an email deletion request.

033. What data will be deleted?

When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal data linked to that account that we control, except information we need to retain for legitimate legal or security reasons. Depending on what you have used, this may include:

• Account and profile details, such as your display name, email address, and account identifiers.
• Saved tasks, subjects, settings, and preferences.
• Focus-session history and activity records associated with your account.
• Study-room participation records and messages linked to your account, where applicable and subject to legal requirements.

Deleting your account is intended to be permanent, not a temporary deactivation. You will lose access to your account and its associated content.

044. Data that may be retained

We may need to retain limited information when required or permitted for tax and accounting obligations, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, or fraud prevention. Such information is retained only for the period needed for those purposes or required by applicable law.

Some deleted data may remain temporarily in encrypted or protected backup copies until those copies are overwritten through our normal backup cycle. Data handled independently by Apple or Google, including app-store purchase records, is governed by those providers' policies.

055. What happens after your request?

We will review your request, verify account ownership if needed, and process account and associated-data deletion in accordance with applicable law. We may contact you if more information is needed and will confirm when your request has been completed.

Uninstalling the app alone does not delete your account.

066. Subscriptions and billing

Deleting your focus w/us account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. To prevent future renewals, cancel it separately in the store where you subscribed:

• Apple: Open your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
• Google Play: Open Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

Your app-store purchase and billing records may continue to be held by Apple or Google under their own policies.
