Welcome to focus w/us. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the focus w/us mobile application, website, focus timers, tasks, study rooms, community features, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). focus w/us is a product of Uluwatu.ai ("we", "us", or "our").

Please read these Terms before using the Service. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

011. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If the law where you live requires parental or guardian consent for minors, you must obtain that consent before using the Service.

You agree to provide accurate account information where required, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and be responsible for activities under your account. You must not impersonate another person or use an account without authorization. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us.

You may sign in using supported third-party services such as Apple or Google. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.

022. What the Service Provides

focus w/us offers productivity tools, including Pomodoro and other timers, task or subject organization, solo focus sessions, study rooms, and optional social or community features. Available functionality may change over time and may differ by device, region, or subscription tier.

Timers, statistics, reminders, and other features are tools for personal use. We do not guarantee specific study, work, health, or productivity outcomes.

033. Free and Paid Features

Some features may be free, while others may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. The app will show the applicable price, currency, billing period, and other material purchase terms before you confirm a purchase.

Where subscriptions are offered:

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel them in accordance with the applicable app store's instructions and deadlines.
Purchases and payments made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by the relevant platform, and its billing, cancellation, and refund rules apply.
You can manage or cancel a subscription using the subscription settings of the store account used to purchase it.
Deleting the app or your focus w/us account does not necessarily cancel an active store subscription.
If a free trial or promotional price is offered, the applicable duration and conditions will be shown before purchase. Unless you cancel in time, the subscription may convert to a paid subscription under the terms shown at checkout.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this section.

044. Study Rooms and Community Participation

Some features allow you to create, join, or participate in shared study rooms, exchange messages during breaks, or make certain activity and profile information visible to others.

You are responsible for the material you share and for choosing what you disclose in shared spaces. Do not share sensitive personal information in rooms or chats. A private room code is an invitation mechanism, not a guarantee of absolute confidentiality. Please share private room codes only with people you intend to invite.

We may remove content or restrict access to community features when reasonably necessary to address abuse, safety concerns, violations of these Terms, or legal requirements.

055. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create or submit, including tasks, notes, room names, and messages, subject to any rights held by others.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service and its features. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where limited retention is permitted or required by law, or necessary for backup, safety, or legal purposes.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit any content you share and that your content does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

066. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

harass, threaten, bully, discriminate against, or exploit other users;
post unlawful, abusive, misleading, infringing, or otherwise harmful content;
share spam, malicious links, malware, or unauthorized advertising;
attempt to access another person's account, private rooms, or data without permission;
interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer, or exploit the Service except as permitted by applicable law;
use automated methods to collect data, send messages, or abuse Service functionality without authorization;
use the Service for unlawful activity or to infringe third-party rights.

We may take proportionate action, including removing content, limiting features, suspending accounts, or reporting unlawful conduct where appropriate.

077. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, interface, design, branding, and other materials provided by us, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms and any applicable app-store license agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purposes. This does not transfer ownership of the Service or our intellectual property to you.

088. Third-Party Platforms and Services

Certain features depend on third parties, including device operating systems, Apple, Google, sign-in providers, and infrastructure services. We are not responsible for the independent terms, content, or practices of those providers.

If you download the app through an app store, the applicable store terms and end-user license conditions may also apply. These Terms do not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law or applicable platform rules.

099. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable Service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, technical, or legal reasons.

Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes that affect paid features or your rights.

1010. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis, without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

focus w/us does not provide medical, mental-health, or other professional advice. You remain responsible for your own activities, decisions, and well-being.

Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

1111. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or purely economic losses arising from use of the Service. We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be limited.

1212. Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. If account deletion is available in the app, you may request deletion through that option or contact us using the details below.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for serious or repeated Terms violations, security threats, fraud, or legal compliance. Where appropriate and legally required, we will provide notice or an opportunity to appeal.

Account deletion does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription; manage billing through Apple or Google as applicable. Data-handling details are described in our Privacy Policy.

1313. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected.

1414. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do so. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide any notice required by applicable law. Continued use after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

1515. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms operate subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Nothing here limits rights you cannot waive under such laws.
